Quality Assurance. Stainalloy is ISO 9001:2000 approved by Bureau Veritas and the quality program is continually subject to review and audit by this independent authority. The qualified Q.A. manager assures the highest level of contract management and product control in compliance with the requirements of Stainalloy's quality manual.
Testing. The technical know how within our company is constantly upgraded with training and educational practice in order to remain a first class service company. Our QC personnel is qualified to perform the following in-house testing:
• Liquid Dye Penetrant testing (LDP) level II
• Product Material Identification (PMI)
• Ultrasonic testing (US) level II
• Fischer Ferrite testing.
• Spectrographic examination
• Plastic replica
Additionally we perform (Non) Destructive tests on our material in order to comply with our clients specifications.
Drawings and Strength Calculations. Our quality department is fully equipped to produce dimensional drawings and related strength calculations for pipes, fittings and branch fittings in order to adapt our products to our clients design conditions regarding temperature, pressure and corrosion allowance.
Inspection. Besides in-house testing, Stainalloy performs inspections at our mills continuously. Either by our experienced Stainalloy personnel or by an appointed qualified third party, we monitor both quality assurance and process schedules in order to assure contract enforcement as agreed upon. Hence, by appointing qualified third party inspectors for inspection and expediting, Stainalloy is able to react directly on new developments at their mills.
Warehousing an Expediting. Stainalloy manages more than 10.000 sqm of warehousing facilities in Sliedrecht and Arkel close to the port of Rotterdam. Our expediting department is fully committed and permanently in direct contact with the client during the project. The recent introduction of a fully integrated SAP system enables us to keep track of the actual stock flows, monitor inspection and testing and reduce lead times in our warehouses.
